Deep Rooted Garden Workshop: Oak Gall Ink

* Update * Due to construction being done on Beal St., the entrance to the Red Cedar River Trail from the west will be closed until August 24, 2026. If you're attending Deep Rooted, the nearest parking to the only accessible entrance is at the Main Library, with access on the river trail to the south. If stairs are not an issue for you, all other garden entrances will be open.

Deep Rooted moves to the garden! These hands-on workshops focus on the relationship between plants and humans through art. Learn about the history of oak gall ink and see how it's made. Then, make your own feather quills to practice your penmanship with you creations! Registration for this free workshop is encouraged.
