How do you see art connected to nature?
Nature has long been a powerful inspiration for musicians. Since music itself originates from nature - from the human voice to the countless sounds in the nature - I believe it is essential to seek the beauty of music within nature.
What inspired you to perform your piece?
"Claire de Lune," meaning "moonlight," reminds me of the pond in Beal Botanical Garden as the piece captures the moon's reflection, gentle movement of water and rustling leaves.
How does engaging in your passion improve your wellbeing?
I feel the deepest sense of fulfillment when my music is shared with others and when I feel connected with people through the music. That sense of connection brings true meaning and happiness to what I do.
